CWUConference Debates Artificial Inteligence - But Is It Just A Con Asks UTAW Delegate
The first motion on the agenda of the first day of this years CWU Conference, was from the London Postal Branch and moved by Steve Jones.
The terms of the motion was certainly dealing with an issue which is currently in the minds of workers across the world and is seen as the modern worlds industrial revolution, with possible catostrophic implications for the human race.

Abigail Simmons, UTAW Branch opposed the motion, argueing that the technology was over-rated to the point that claims made by the major tech companies are merely PR campaigns to maximise profit:
The debate continued with Branch delegates speaking in support of the motion - Brian Kenny, Mersey Branch, and with one Branch opposing, Andrew Rathbone from Wessex South Central Branch
